The book Lasher is quit a brutal read. At the end of The Witching Hour, Rowan was kind of dumb and too cocky when she pushed away everyone who could help her because she thought she could deal with Lasher alone, but damn, the things this woman is going through… really rough to see her being locked up and tied and beaten and raped over and over and over. Humanoid Lasher is much more monstrous than his spirit self was
