While humanoid Lasher kinda sucks and his spirit version was a much more compelling character, I’m relieved to see the next few chapters are his story, so it means they’re not going to be Michael chapters. Every time I see a new Michael Curry chapter in this book I’m like

I’m almost at the ending of Lasher now, then there’s Taltos to read. After I’m thinking about maaaybe rereading some Vampire Chronicles books since the other day I realised that I remember very little about the main plot beats of books like Blackwood Farm and Prince Lestat lmao we’ll see
