Fairy tales do not give the child his first idea of bogey. What fairy tales give the child is his first clear idea of the possible defeat of bogey.
Nina Arianda as Molly Foster Graham, Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde, Gabriel Browning Rodriguez as Walter Foster Graham, Hannibal – …And the Beast from the Sea (S03E11)
He didn’t murder those families. He changed them. [3x11]
(Long ass meta coming up soooo yeah if you can’t be arsed to read it, just focus on the gifs)
This scene basically just sums up how fucked Will Graham is when it comes to Hannibal ft. Change vs Family Values. His feelings totally undermine his moral compass and ability to think rationally.
The dialogues between Hannibal and Dolarhyde are so intense, it even makes me feel a little bad for him because he really doesn’t want to hurt Reba. It’s quite bittersweet., just like Will and Molly’s scene - there’s a lot of sadness for couples in this episode.
Speaking about couples, I also love the last scene so much. The angry, whispered arguments between Will and Hannibal brings me so much joy ~
I really enjoy Richard Armitage’s performance as Dolarhyde. He manages to convince me when he’s playing the tormented, fearful man and when he’s playing the cold blooded, merciless serial killer. The scene when he invades Molly’s house is always quite scary.
Speaking about Molly, she’s such a badass - it never ceases to amaze me how quickly she took control of the situation and managed to save herself and her son from a really dangerous, really competent killer.
I’m not fortune’s fool. I’m yours.
I love this quote so much - this entire scene actually. Will keeps trying to convince Hannibal saying things like “tell me who they are, we can save this family” and Hannibal just have this “do I look like I care” expression all the time and despite the serious tone of the scene, I can’t help but find it funny
They’re not my family, Will. And I’m not letting them die - you are. Hannibal, Hannibal, you DICK.

In at Number 8 - Molly gives Dolarhyde the Finger
Because if you can survive when the dragon wants you dead and it doesn’t make the top 10, that shit’s criminal. Honestly, I thought this show couldn’t get more tense, couldn’t surprise me, and this scene came out of nowhere and gave me chills.
Nina performed it perfectly, really shone in this scene, absolute credit to her and the character.
Will Graham. Hannibal S03E011 …And the Beast from the Sea
I hate this Molly.
I’m sorry.
