tagged as: Vampire Chronicles; vampire chronicles tv; Claudia; Bailey Bass; the cast is growing!; interesting to me is that if they do adapt the murder family part of story (can't image it /not/ being adapted but you never know); they cast a black actor for louis and a black actress for claudia so this time claudia will look more like louis's daughter; and in the books she looks as if she could really be lestat's biological daughter; the only thing that makes me go 'hmm' is her age; but these days i don't think they would want to cast even a kid in the early teens for this role; the whole thing about claudia is that she is a woman trapped in a child's body but we don't really know anything about what they'll do; in story terms; maybe they'll characterize her as if she was a younger teenager maybe they'll try to give a different spin; i don't really judge works without seeing the final result; anyway i wish her the best of the luck with such a challenging role; and the best of the luck to deal with the clowns that will (sadly) most likely come for her;
