Shout out to Quinn Blackwood, this crazy lad who became a vampire by literally sucking dick

It has been a long while since I last read this book, so it completely passed me by when I watched the show, but there is a strong parallel in the Mayfair Witches show from a scene that happens in Blackwood Farm.

In this scene, the ghost of Julien Mayfair reveals to Quinn Blackwood that he is his ancestor, and he reveals the manner of how it came to be.

This is very similar to the show, when Deirdre thinks she’s having sex with the young man she met at the party…

But it was actually Cortland, wearing a mask and a costume.

If Goblin had taken a different attitude when Quinn was turned into a vampire, Quinn/Goblin/Mona would be a throuple weird enough to challenge the wackiness of Lestat/Louis/Armand

Quinn really read the entire Vampire Chronicles and went “I have a baby face, I’m dumb, and I’m pretty. Lestat will fall for it”.

And Lestat did.

This part of Blackwood Farm is so funny actually. Like picture Lestat; this is not a great time for him. The Talamasca kicked him out of his own city and his loved ones asked him to do nothing. Louis is giving him the cold shoulder again. He is lonely and angry and he goes to check on his house, and what he finds?

Not one but TWO intruders who invaded his house for different reasons in the same night, and when he gets to the intruder that is a vampire, that vampire’s inner monologue is all “omg omg he’s hot he is soooo hot he’s even hotter than he described himself to be”

But can’t blame Quinn since it seems to work wonders; flattery seems to be a quick way into Lestat’s heart since it’s almost comical how quickly he becomes so protective of Quinn.

Great move, Quinn!
