Yesterday I saw the first episode of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’, and my reaction is something like… “DEAR FUCKING LORD, IS MCCOY? BONES BONES BONES, BONES WITH 137 YEARS OLD, DEAR FUCKING LORD, BONES, DON’T GO, DOOOOOOOON’T, I LOVE YOU :(”
I did not knew that DeForest Kelley did a participation in The Next Generation. So lovely! :’)
But now talking serious: I felt a lump in my throat when I saw it. I almost cried, and the sad song that plays in the background when McCoy is with Data really DID NOT helped. God god, I do not know exactly why, if is just the miss that I feel of the original crew (in my mother language, the word “saudade” says everything), but I felt really sad with this scene, but, in some way… glad. Damn humans and their paradoxal feelings.
