Since I’ve been on a drawing kick I wanted to draw Curt Wild and Brian Slade (Velvet Goldmine) dressed up as their Victorian progenitors*, Bunny and Raffles (from the Raffles stories by E. W. Hornung), for a costume ball. If you know what happens when these two drink champagne together, you might want to take cover; Curt looks like he could throw his glass any second.

Their roles are slightly reversed with Curt wearing the pin. I like the thought of the two of them being together for a while after Brian gave it to him.

It looks fuzzy on tumblr, so I also put it on ao3.

*Well, that’s my headcanon. I dunno that Todd Haynes would agree.
