I had a revelation whilst watching the season 7 episode ‘Inheritance’.Doctor Noonien Soong was apparently the nicest, most loving and caring guy in the galaxy, and yet the colonists of Omicron Theta treated him like some kind of freak and inadvertantly destroyed his entire family. This was a man who loved unconditionally even when the rest of the colony, his wife and seemingly every force of fate was against him.
