You’ve got:
- Faith of the heart
- Strength of the soul

You can:
- Touch the sky
- See your dreams come alive at last
- Reach any star
- Go where your heart will take you

Star Trek fandom, you all need Faith of the Heart.
The Enterprise theme is so goddamn doofy, and for like most of the first season it’s this hysterical running punchline at the end of every cold open. And at some point, you start to love it, and how damn earnest and uplifting it is, fake Rod Stewart be damned. And riiiight when you settle into liking it, THATS when season 3 drops a monster remix to make the song more upbeat and fun, in direct contrast to the show’s dark-ass post-9/11 war arc that season. Suddenly it’s awful and hilarious again, like for the very first time, and doesn’t stop being either for the rest of the series. A legendary theme song.
