Title: The Death of Dignity
Fandom: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Genre: Fluff
Rating & Warnings: PG (for fail!seduction oh Julian)
Words: 1768
Disclaimer: I don’t own Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Summary: Dr. Bashir and Garak learn that the ideals of masculine beauty are not standard across their species and experience the loss of the illusion of constant attractiveness.
Author’s Notes: So I’ve been reading A Stich In Time lately, which has had the direct result of turning all my fic into ludicrous amounts of silly fluff because there is only so much heartbreak any one person can be expected to bear. This would be some of the particularly silly stuff that sprang from an amusing mental image and my fascinations with species differences, the effects of politics on fashion, and words and phrases that hang around long past the point where they’re obsolete (“batten down the hatches,” anyone?).
Additional disclaimer: I am not an artist. I am someone who was bored in class for years and years. If you’re looking for actual, properly illustrated fanfic, please go read Lady Yate-Xel’s.Crossposted to my fic journal.
Julian is trying to sleep when suddenly his door opens:
Garak: Come, Doctor, get dressed. We need to be going.
Bashir: Going? Going where?
Garak: To Bajor.

Just in case you were all concerned that I forgot what they looked like in space.
….i just noticed i forgot to give Bashir even a hint of clothes.
