what if in this scene Bashir kissed Garak before he died
and then when the Dominion releases everyone from the simulation, nobody says anything to him about it at first but then finally Dax or O’Brien or someone is like “you thought that was real life and you acted on your feelings” and Bashir’s like “nope” and O’Brien’s like “look dude you gotta go after him in this lifetime before you lose him for real”
and then that’s how they get together and tumblr’s favorite DS9 ship becomes canon, the end

Answering that ask earlier has got me thinking and now I’ve remembered something.
Sid and Andy also wrote a play together called ‘The Dream Box’ that they performed at conventions. I did a lot of searching once in an attempt to learn more about it, but I couldn’t find out…
