Sugar pie, honey bunch
You know that I love you
I can’t help myself
I love you and nobody else
I’m weaker than a man should be
I can’t help myself
I’m a fool in love you see

I Can’t Help Myself by Four Tops requested by @aardvark-crowley

Whew been a while but I’m finally back with a new piece. I have so many wips with most of your song recs @aardvark-crowley and I had such a hard time choosing cause they’re all so amazing ;_; i finally settled with this one tho cause I love 1960s Crowley and I haven’t drawn him enough. Let’s say they just ‘bumped’ into each other not long after the holy water give away but the truth is, I imagine Crowley can’t just keep himself away from him.

crowley begging aziraphale to run away with him to alpha centauri is such a huge step away from the mostly platonic relationship they had in the book. like in the book their whole bond revolves around their mutual love of the earth and humanity - but having crowley express a desire to run away to a completely different solar system with only aziraphale takes the focus right off their earthly delights and places it squarely on their love for each other and their desire to stay together. idk i’m just Thinkin about This

tagged as: Good Omens;  book omens;  ineffable husbands;  listen i know. it's been months i know;  but i've been thinking so much about the differences between book and show and the different characterizations and how it change things;  because like overall the show is an incredible faithful adaptation but like crowley and aziraphale are so alike and so different;  book a/c is like... old married couple while tv a/c is star-crossed lovers;  and like their personalities... i find book!aziraphale much more practical and less nervous n fussy. he's good but he's like much more of a;  bastard and it's kind cold at times. while tv!aziraphale? he's soft and so sweet and all sunshine. he's a bit bitchy and a bit of a bastard;  but like just a bit? he's more like indulgent bastard. and so much more nervous and worried;  book!crowley is both kind of chill with who he is and so very anxious and optimistic and loves humanity so much;  while i read tv!crowley as less anxious and more angry. stil anxious mind you but more desperate/angry/annoyed about it than downright anxio;  and he's a bit more of a pessimist than his book self;  and like this post says when shit hits the fan book!crowley still shows up in the air base by himself;  while tv!crowley impulse is twice like... gotta grab the angel and run;  mind you i both prefer their tv selves and the show itself than the book;  a very rare occurrence for me because i usually prefer the book;  but i still like the book a lot i just think the show is more entertaining;  oh gosh this is giant is been a while since i ranted in the tags uh;  Crowley;  Aziraphale;

Inspired by the track Forbidden friendship from the How To Train Your Dragon soundtrack requested by anon |
tags: @aardvark-crowley @murdered-by-fandoms

This is the only instrumental request and I really wanted to try it out; so have some Aziraphale offering Crowley the forbidden apple of Eden while they kind of had their first picnic under the tree of Eden itself. I imagine Aziraphale’s so happy trying everything out in the garden that he didn’t really realize at first what he was actually doing.
