The Mirror of Erised: The Single Saddest Object in the history of literature.
Oh god…Fred and George.
I HAD NEVER SEEN THE DUMBLEDORE ONE. WHY. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT.
This shit. Why.
The first and last mentions of Severus Snape.
I like how his last mention answers the first.

Did anyone else notice a parallel between James/Lily and Ron/Hermione? Both girls much too smart for them. Both thought they were ignorant pigs. Both guys doing really, really dumb things trying to get the girls attention. Nearly losing her all together, but somehow, someway, redeeming themselves and getting the girl.
Uh, I don’t think so. I don’t think that Lily was ‘too much smart’ for James. James was a jerk, fine, but he was a smart jerk - actually, James had to be pretty brilliant for manage to became an animagus at such a young age without monitoring and investigation of an adult wizard. And I don’t think that Hermione ever thought Ron was an ignorant pig - unlike Lily, she was always a friend of Ron. She might think he was a moron for times, but I don’t think it was the same thing. James always fought for Lily’s attention, but my view of Ron is that he was too much oblivious in notice his own feelings, I think Hermione discovered that she loved Ron much more soon - just in the last two books I agree that Ron tried to get Hermione’s attention doing dumb things.
