I actually really like Winn. Not because she’s a great person, but because she is a believable, flawed person. I see a lot of my own struggles in her. I know what it’s like to pretend to be the kind of person you want to be, but all the while you keep falling further away from what you are trying to reach, and you don’t know why. I think there’s something beautifully human about her character arch, something more important than the polished examples of courage and righteous struggle we see in the show’s main characters.
