Dukat: There is no dilemma that cannot be solved by a disciplined Cardassian mind.
Garak: It’s not going to work, you know.
Dukat: What are you babbling on about now?
Garak: I’m talking about Major Kira.
Kira: What about her?
Garak: She’s much too busy trying to save this station to be impressed with your incessant posturing.
Dukat: Garak!
Garak: And even if she weren’t, she has much better taste than to be attracted to you. You, a married man.
Dukat: I should have executed you years ago.
Garak: Oh you tried, remember?
Bashir: Garak, this isn’t helping. This is easily one of my top ten favorite DS9 episodes.
Absolutely one of my very favorites. Possibly the one where less evil Weyoun perved on Odo the entire episode was up there with it. But how can you beat the ever-escalating levels of Gul Dukat’s self-importance?
“the ever-escalating levels of Gul Dukat’s self-importance”
Perfect.
Kira: I’m sorry Dax. I just feel… silly.
Dax: Good. That’s what a holosuite’s for. To have a good time. All you have to do is relax and use your imagination.Kira & Dax

Nana Visitor with her stand-in.
“According to most of the people who know her, the coy, coquettish intendant is much close to Nana Visitor’s real personality than the tough-as-nails major, something that Visitor herself confirms. ‘It’s very much me. I mean, I hope I don’t send people to their deaths or anything like that, but, yeah, that is more of who I am.’ She laughs. Visitor arrived at the persona by thinking about Kira’s core personality and then ‘messing with her ego a bit, and messing with a few key elements in her life that would have changed its direction. She’s a spoiled brat with an ego gone awry.’”
