It’s an interesting change that Rowan in this universe wants the family per se but wants nothing to do with the role of designee. It’s actually more realistic lmao Rowan in the books accept things with such ease that just makes me like ??? most of the time

Interesting the idea of a cerimony of exchange of designees and if one ever were to happen it would be from Katherine to Julien, yeah. She never wanted anything to do with Lasher in her whole life, after all, and the only thing Lasher ever wanted from Katherine was a heir. He didn’t even made a storm when she died.

Also! Loved the scene of Lasher saving Suzanne from her death. It’s the first instance in the show of him looking dark and scary and insanely powerful. And tbh since we’re making such drastic changes gotta say, i have a small bit of hope that maybe Suzanne won’t be burned at the stake in this universe

Aw man, poor Tessa, our current Mona-wannabe, she doesn’t deserve to be kidnapped by the nutcases wanting to burn women. And also they really thought Lasher had gone to her huh. That spirit is not subtle when he claims a witch like you can tell lmao he’s not that easy to get rid ot, Julien is a special case and should not be counted for comparison
