I watch the Elementary pilot, finally…
Hmm, I’m divided. It’s not as bad as I was expecting, but I wouldn’t call it brilliant either. The actuations are good - Jonny Lee Miller made a good character, and I think Lucy Liu was good, too - and the plot made me interested during the duration of the episode.
It was a good story, but… it just don’t seem like a Sherlock good story. What I felt was not that I was watching a Sherlock Holmes adaptation: I felt like I was watching a series with crimes and detectives, and just it.
So… I can’t say that it was my favorite series of all time, but is better than I initially thought.
