



I had been begging to direct an episode since season one and my chance to collaborate with Michael Westmore on “Genesis” was the best. He should have won an Emmy for his work in that. It was brilliant. I also got to direct one of my favorite scenes with one of my favorite cast members… Spot. That moment when he is behind the couch? So, I see you guys doing awesome things in the Deep Dish Nine fandom… you write amazing things with social context and adorable things and serious stuff and just amazing things in all places, and I thought, what can I do for this amazing fandom?
And then, I wrote a story about a cat. Data’s cat.
Well, my first intention was to write a story about Reg, but the things just gotta out of control, you know ~~
