wait why did star trek hit peak progressiveness with ds9 and then stop. like ds9 had episodes that directly discussed race, lesbian romance, unionization (and communism), classism, had a lead character who was a terrorist and directly addressed colonialism and genocide. and then with ent i have to forget what feminism is for forty five minutes to get through an episode
