This was one of my first drawings of 2015, I love Star Trek and I’m always thinking I should do more fanart of the series.

I just love the fact that future Data has a whole cat squad. He’s a crazy cat android.

And these were only the ones in this room.

Theory: Those are all of Spot’s kittens she had on Enterprise and their kittens and so on.

What if Data just can’t say no to a cat.
Data’s most emotional moment is with Spot, right? Spot is such an important part of Data’s road to humanity.
It makes sense that as he develops more emotions, he would have a strong bond with Spot and her descendants. And his house just fills up with them.
He rehouses some but people know he cares for cats so people keep bringing him new ones. Some disabled, sick and older kitties that he nurses back to health and a happy cat life.
And he’s content and happy to have it that way because he knows he’ll never be sick or injured or be unable to care for them for financial reasons. He has the space and the love.
