I didn’t post liveblog here yesterday, but well, my opinion on “The Swarm”:

Medium episode. The part dedicated to the aliens attacking the ship was, frankly, boring as fuck. But the part of the epidode dedicated to the Doctor’s dilemma… it was pretty interesting.

I always liked complex holograms. I always liked Moriarty, and Vic Fontaine. In a way, the Doctor is more complex than both of them, and it’s always interesting to watch his character growing more and more, one episode for time. This episode seemed to be the price that he had to pay for his acquired humanity, and it was pretty interesting and well done.

Also, this episode made me love Kes even more. It seemed that almost everyone had already given up the Doctor [ít makes me also think in how they would live without a Chief Medical Officer, because Kes may be good, but she isn’t a doctor], but not Kes. She fought until the very end for save her friend’s life, and I admire her persistence. You go, girl.
