tagged as: self reblog; Interview With The Vampire; movies; Lestat de Lioncourt; Louis de Pointe du Lac; brad pitt; tom cruise; Lestat x Louis; the old question about this scene... did it happen or not; imo it did not even if i actually like it a lot; i think it didn't mainly for two reasons the first being that i don't think lestat would lie about it; because it's not like he hides his low points most humiliating moments from the readers; sure maybe he could have forgotten? maybe; but tbh i think bitter angry louis telling this interview to daniel WANTED to believe that if he found lestat in this state he would be able; to leave him there; but tbh? i personally don't think he would be able to;
