After I saw this post by @thefairylights and @bratprnce ’s comment about posters of Grand Guignol featuring beheading, slashing throats and severed heads, I thought I’d take a look. Here are some of them, and other posters that could show the vibe they’re going for the Theatre des Vampires.
“The man who killed Death” 👀 which is the story of Moralès, a man who has been condemned to the death penalty, yet the man has never confessed his crime, which sows doubts in the mind of the attorney general. While the exection is being prepared, a leading biologist asks to be present at the execution and starts doing horrifying experiments on the body of the deceased. A play about the inhumanity of science and justice, often dysfunctional and poorly administered.

Armand should have taken Lestat’s family name instead of Marius, and basically act like Lestat’s jilted wife that took half his husband’s fortune in the divorce, along with their child (nicky) and his house. It would be a slap in Marius’ face because Armand found himself a younger, wealthier blond man to love. At the same time Lestat would be screaming about it cause he never even fucked Armand, and Armand would simply flip his black shawl over his shoulder and remind Lestat that paying child support is no excuse for abandoning Nicky in his care.
I’m only considering here the characters that narrate a full book. I am NOT considering characters that narrate chapters in books with multiple POVS (like QotD or PL).

the thing about lestat and armand is that their relationship is literally incomprehensible. they are boy best friends they are codependent worsties they are archrivals they are platonic soulmates they are telepathic gossipers they are part time haters and full time ride or dies they are insane bisexuals but most importantly. they are toxic exes. despite the fact that they have never once dated. hope this helps
