People who are like “waaah sex scenes never add anything to the plot and they’re useless” have never watched that scene in Black Sails where Jack, Anne and Max are having a threesome with Anne in the middle and Max starts to interac with Jack and puts her fingers in his mouth and Anne looks at both of them as if they have lost their minds, like
I like that the show left it open to interpretation, because I really can’t see Madi forgiving Silver, not in the way she is presented during the whole show since the first time we saw her. Silver not only betrayed her trust but, like she says, he planned to betray way, way before shit went down. I can’t see Madi forgiving it, not in a way that could make it possible for them to resume their relationship.
Even if Madi tried to forgive him out of love, I can’t see it lasting. I keep remembering the concept of maddening polite from Hannibal, the idea of resentment outgrowing love in such a high degree that respect and cold courtesy are the only thing surviving out of what was once a loving relationship. That’s the only way I can think ot their relationship going after what Silver has done.
The reunion between Flint and Thomas is so beautiful and it made me cry but also I do hope Flint starts a riot in a month’s time and they run away because the idea of them being imprisioned for the rest of their lives after everything makes me want to cry harder
The way that Madi smiles so brightly at Flint… I do love them so much. They should have had more scenes together. Also it’s a wonder it took so long for Silver to see how much Flint and Madi are alike because it’s kind of obvious.
