Didn’t actually noticed yesterday when I was watching the episode, but not only the Daystrom Institute had Picard’s human body, they also have Kirk’s remains
honestly why are you guys doing such a Big deal about it like is this going to be answered later in the episode or did you guys forget that Changelings can turn into literally. anything. and not just another species.
there’s like a whole episode about Odo turning into literally smoke and Quark used to test the chairs at his bar to see if it wasn’t Odo disguised as a chair. We have seen more than once Odo turning into things like chairs, paintings, broken glass and he wasn’t even that great at shifting, by his own admission.
The changeling didn’t need to pass as a crew member to get into the ship,
they could board disguised as idk, an ant, a random piece of furniture and no one would be the wiser
I liked this first episode, very promising, but we’ll see how the rest of the season goes. I mostly really liked the first season but the second was very frustrating and I hated how they got rid of almost all original characters, so we’ll see how this one develops.
I do think it’s a bit sad how the TNG crew seems to have grow so far apart, like, 20 years? Damn, that’s a long time to cut off contact. And even the rest of them, Picard not recognizing Geordi’s daughter… it’s kinda sad.
My personal theory is that Data’s death was the thing that tore them apart. In the first season, Picard was still very affected by Data’s sacrifice, still dreaming of him and feeling very guilty for the way he died, even so many years later, so maybe instead of being a memory of good times, getting together with the rest of the crew would only Picard that Data was no longer with them and why he was no longer there, so he stopped even trying.
Why did they found the biggest douchebag available around and made Seven work for him as a First Officer like. why couldn’t they found anyone nice for her
Honestly, the thing with this romance with Picard is that I would buy it much better with Tallinn than with Laris, considering Picard spent the whole season sharing deep personal memories and kinship with Tallinn lmao
This season of Picard was, overall a bit messy, highs really great and lows that were very boring, pacing was weird and some things didn’t work, but the things that did were beautiful. Far from a perfect season but I had a great time watching
listen, i’ve been a Qcard shipper for over what… ten years now? i’ve been living off scraps and the occasional Ron Moore quote where he reminds us that the TNG writing staff thought Q was in love with Picard, so you can say that i’m feeling a little. overwhelmed now
