My secret santa was @reflectedeve - you asked for Garak/Bashir, fake-to-real dating and it was impossible to resist. Garashir is my DS9 otp, but I never wrote it before and it was an interesting challenge. I’m just sorry for how late I’m posting this, but I had a crazy busy month. The fic is… longer and slight less cheerful than I wanted to, but I still hope you’ll enjoy it.

i’m just eternally grateful for avery brooks and all the work he did to make ds9 the show it is. how hard he fought to portray a powerful black man with positive family relationships when the network had other ideas. how deftly he handled the episodes he directed (some of the best episodes in the entire series). he’s wonderful and i’m so glad he’s a part of star trek.
