Hannibal 2x12 - “Tome-wan”

What Mason is experiencing isn’t restricted to reality, so reality has to be forced to adapt. He fed his face to my dogs. He broadened their palates as I broadened yours.

Old-ass take, but I think the biggest reason Will was angry in season 1 when he realizes Abigail killed Nick Boyle is because he was excluded from that narrative entirely. He had already started seeing himself as a paternal figure to her, and to find out she did not trust him, that Hannibal did not trust him, with that information, regardless of how or why they hid his body and everything, it was probably very hurtful to him. He reacts with hostility, is incredibly salty to Hannibal, when he replies that they hid the body. “Evidently, not well enough,” implies that he would have done it better, if they had thought to include him in it, trusted him with it. This was the man he’s started opening up about his deepest insecurities to, and a girl he was hoping to at least provide some semblance of stability for after killing her father, only to find out that they had gone behind his back and done something like that together, completely without him, leaving him behind, which is also one of the reasons why Hannibal couldn’t leave him behind in season 2, when Will tells him to go. That’s all I have for now, thanks
