Honestly, Anne Rice got a lot or problems like… god, does that woman did/does some terrible shit.
But I don’t really get when people say she denies that Lestat/Louis are gay because like
She has them kiss and make out, call each other ‘lover’ and make romantic, gushy love declarations in almost all the books? And in that one interview she did say they were pretty much the first gay couple to addopt a kid in a way
Also there was that time where she literally wrote what their wedding would be like on her facebook page with a lot of fashion and decoration details
I mean, maybe in her 90s Phase Of Fucking Fandom Over she was in denial, but for a long time now she doesn’t really deny stuff
ok but the thing is
i’ve seen a lot of talk around about how Tyrell fell only for Mr. Robot, because the most important interactions and significant moments were with him and not Elliot, but it got me thinking
now it’s been a while since I watched s1 and s2 and I didn’t rewatch, but for what I remember Tyrell was making crazy heart eyes to Elliot as early as s1e1 (or maybe s1e2 but it was very early) and in other episodes as well (like that iconic restaurant scene) and it was all encounters with Elliot, and like
even when Elliot was trying to escape in the opposite direction, Tyrell was still pretty invested on him and trying so. hard to get him on his side and like
that scene with Mr. Robot in the last episode reads to me as a conclusion of all that one sided scenes we saw in s1. Tyrell knew Elliot was something else from his very first interaction with him, and now he was seeing it on action, and seeing an opportunity to act on it and be partners at least, and Mr. Robot saw something worthwhile in this alliance but like
Tyrell didn’t fell for Elliot in this scene. i’m not gonna pretend I can pintpoint the exactly moment he fell for him, but that scene where the partnership with Elliot/Mr. Robot is formed is sort of the confirmation of his feelings, not the source of him
Hannibal: Season 1, Episode 2 - Amuse-Bouche
God’s terrific. He dropped a church roof on thirty-four of his worshippers last Wednesday night in Texas while they sang at him.
AT LAST, the full comic! I won the comics competition at UniCon with it :) they gave me a fancy award made of glass
Not much to say about this print, which is now available in my Standard Designs Etsy Shop. Just, I fucking love this album, and I wish I’d been around to watch Lou Reed record it and David Bowie produce it.
If Lou Reed is your kind of artist, if Penguin Books are your kind of books, then, well… here you go. You’re welcome.
