I just bought The Legacy Collection: The Lion King CD from Amazon the other day, and all I can say is holy shit. Here’s the thing, the scant instrumental offerings from the OST were already fucking amazing (This Land is my favorite), but there were only 4 tracks and you had a total of maybe 15 minutes of music, if you’re being generous. But this new CD? Oh my gosh, you get like an hour of instrumentals; it’s pretty much the entire movie’s score, wrapped up neatly with the songs from the movie (they even included Timon and Pumbaa’s hula number). This song is my favorite at the moment. The Mufasa music, oh man it kills me.

tagged as: one thing that always puts me off in Sherlock Holmes adaptations is how Holmes is frequently portrayed as absolutely and conscious rude; like; I read all the sherlock holmes books; and sherlock can come as cocky and a show off; he can become so involved in the mystery that what he says can come off as a bit insensitive and unnecessary; but like he's not gratuitously rude and mean?; even if he doesn't like the person very much he usually demonstrate some respect for them; and in like a lot of adaptations he always comes off as having a special pleasure in being rude and mean; maybe I should reread the books but I REALLY don't remember he being like that?; idk man maybe I should just watch more granada holmes because jeremy brett is sherlock most like sherlock that I ever saw; sherlock holmes; holmes; bruna saying things;
