Living on this station is torture for me doctor
The temperature is always too cold
The lights always too bright
Every Bajoran on this station looks at me with loathing and contempt
So one day I decided I couldn’t live with it anymore
and I took the pain away
- Garak [S2E22 The Wire]
After what these two went through together in this episode, I just wanted to draw Julian visiting Garak, giving him some tea, putting a blanket on him, and giving him some warm human hugs.
Dance
by Lady Yate-xel
Garak/Bashir
No warnings, rather G-rated, I think. Lots of flirting.2000-ish words in which Garak tries to teach Julian to dance.
Note: This isn’t the next part of my main DD9 thing (though that’s coming), but I was feeling frustrated so I started poking at something that was not that, and ended up editing this little blip a bit to make me feel better. This might turn into a ‘real’ part of DD9 later, but I wanted to share something!

Deep Dish Nine Julian translating his note.
I think he’s received the same one in like three stories now.

Julian laughs. “You act like I’m here for lessons.”
“What are you here for?”
“A date, apparently.”
I’ve been doodling human!Garak for DD9 and then Bashir popped up and then oh no I had to draw them on their (not) date. I love nervous Julian.
Today, I found a kitten sized chair and, luckily, I had a kitten to put in it.
i’m going to cry

Thank you so much for all the great ideas! While waiting for them, have a DD9!Janeway.
She would (obviously) own a café.
seriously, we don’t need a coffee shop au because we already have one and it’s called voyager

Texture-happy Deep Dish Nine.
I HAD to do them too. (Here are their non-pizzashop AU selves.)
