star trek didn’t waste any time in letting us know that data was capable of fucking, huh? like, we are introduced to data in the pilot, and before any of us even has enough time to even speculate about that, BAM, episode 2 comes along and we have to endure that awkward scene where tasha straight up asks him if he can bone and then they proceed to do just that. there’s no mystery, no pizzazz, they just hit us with that information since practically day one and we are forced to live with it
