…definitely looks sleek and furry - so I have to wonder is it actually a Tribble?
However with my Devil’s Advocate hat off, I’ll say that ST - The Original Series designs aren’t a reliable source for anything later, with the most obvious difference being what happened to Klingons from ST - The Motion Picture onwards.
@dduane and I can think of numerous reasons why it would be great to see a Horta crewmember, but only time
and official confirmation
will tell if this really is one, or just someone’s pet Tribble.
(In which case it had better be on a permanent diet, otherwise…)
