I wish everyone would quit saying bad things about the way Brent looks in the new Picard series. I’m glad he’s in it, and if he’s comfortable with the CGI and how it looks, then why does everyone keep complaining? They would’ve complained if he hadn’t been in it, and now they’re complaining that he doesn’t quite fit their expectations. Of course he’s not going to look exactly like he did in the 80’s and 90’s. Personally I think he looks great no matter what. But apparently a lot of people disagree because they keep whining about how he doesn’t look like what they think he should. One person even called him fat, and that made me really sad because I think he looks wonderful, and you guys already know how I feel about his fluffy belly (I love it). It really seems like people are just totally incapable of keeping some thoughts to themselves. This may be the Internet, and you may have a right to an opinion, but you also have a responsibility to be respectful.
Tidbit from DST: we haven’t seen the final effects of Data yet. The glimpses we’ve had, as often in trailers, were unfinished visuals.
