Seven of Nine
Holy SHIT the ability to connect with a character after 20 YEARS like this is INSANE
I watched an interview with Jeri Ryan where she talked about how difficult it was finding Seven’s voice in the Picard script. She said she “started to panic” but then she called Jonathan del Arco and he said the “What if she talks differently because she had to?”.
And that’s so powerful to me. Because Jeri can obviously find Seven in her movements and in the way she speaks but she also considers how Seven faced a society that wasn’t accepting of her, where people might even have feared her. So Seven had to change parts of herself to conform. Jeri gives us something that is both so clearly Seven and is also changed in ways that is grounded in an understanding of what her character must have lived through for 20 years and how that affected her.

Truly love how every Star Trek has a canon sex scene/episode/something that is just absolutely bonkers insane. TOS has amok time and spock and kirk rutting in the sand in front of like the high queen empress grandmother of Vulcan. TNG has Tasha and Data getting drunk off space virus and the reveal that Data has a “fully functional” cock that he puts to very good use in the second goddamn episode. DS9 has odo fucking the leader of a facist movement for three days so hard that he lets rom get almost executed. VOY has threshold. ENT has archer curing his ptsd by fucking his ex girlfriend on top of a mountain. There’s never been a franchise like it really truly deeply.
And the best thing is that there’s more than one to choose from for each show. For every android that’s confirmed to be a literal fuck machine there’s a doctor getting off with a sex candle ghost that used to be her grandmothers. For every ptsd curing pussy there is a box of rocks that causes mpreg. For every episode of ds9 there is a hornier one just around the horizon. Isn’t it beautiful
